I really enjoyed the 2018 Spider-Man game, and it's standalone Miles Morales expansion (to a somewhat lesser extent), but with the sequel's reviews being a bit less glowing I decided to wait for a sale before playing. It's finally gone on sale for a good price so I picked it up.
I really like ARPGs. Back in the day I played a bunch of Torchlight, and more recently I played Diablo 3 and Grim Dawn. Diablo remains the gold standard in terms of polish, and with Diablo 4 on sale I decided to give it a go.
I'm always on the lookout for new tycoon games. I grew up playing RollerCoaster Tycoon, and while OpenRCT scratches that itch, I haven't really found a substitute for Zoo Tycoon, another favorite. Let's Build a Zoo has been on my radar for a long time, and was recently on sale, so I picked it up.
Astro's Playroom was a really unexpected surprise for me. Released in 2020 as a pack-in title with the PS5, it was a cute little platformer that paid homage to Playstation's history, and I had a great time with it.
